“My objective is to design functional porcelain tableware that is versatile, practical, and reflects a quiet strength made for everyday use. Porcelain has a translucent quality, an ease in throwing and hand-building that makes it a good fit for me. As a potter, my process changes soft pliable clay into a solid piece. By layering glazes, I create movement during the kiln firing and the piece is transformed. My glazes express their soul in Sea Green, Blue, and Raspberry combined to create a design in motion.”
